Job DescriptionAbout the role: In this role you will be responsible for defining, managing, and optimizing the portfolio of services for a specific BD platform across the full-service lifecycle. This role develops the service portfolio strategy, identifies new service opportunities, and ensures service offerings align with customer needs, platform priorities, and business growth objectives. Working closely with service operations, product management, sales, marketing, finance, and regional teams, the role drives the development, commercialization, and ongoing performance of service offerings including service contracts, digital services, professional services, training, and other recurring service solutions. Key Responsibilities: Define and lead the service portfolio strategy for an assigned BD platform, aligned with platform priorities, customer needs, installed base opportunities, and business growth goals. Own the lifecycle of service offerings, including concept development, business case creation, launch, sustainment, optimization, and retirement. Identify unmet customer needs and growth opportunities across the installed base and translate them into differentiated service offerings, packages, and service models. Partner with service operations, platform product management, commercial teams, finance, and regional stakeholders to develop and execute service portfolio roadmaps. Develop business cases and commercialization plans for new and enhanced service offerings, including value proposition, pricing, attach strategy, and revenue potential. Analyze service portfolio performance using metrics such as service revenue, margin, attach rate, renewal, utilization, and customer adoption to guide decisions and improvements. Evaluate market trends, competitive service models, customer workflows, and platform lifecycle needs to identify opportunities for innovation and portfolio differentiation. Support the creation of scalable global service offerings while partnering with regions to adapt for local market needs where appropriate. Partner with regional commercial, marketing, and service teams to enable effective positioning, commercialization, and adoption of the service portfolio within local markets, providing value propositions, messaging, sales enablement tools, training, and launch support to drive growth and customer value. Lead cross-functional governance for service portfolio decisions, ensuring alignment on priorities, trade-offs, and roadmap investments. Communicate service portfolio strategy, performance, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders. About you: To be successful in this role, you should have strong experience developing and managing service offerings, ideally within the MedTech industry. You should be able to identify customer needs, analyze market opportunities, and translate business priorities into scalable service solutions that drive customer value and business growth. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field At least 5 years of experience managing service portfolios or service offerings including service lifecycle management, commercialization, and portfolio performance optimization. Strong understanding of recurring service models, service contracts, digital and professional services, installed base strategy, and service business economics. Experience developing business cases, pricing strategies, and go-to-market approaches for service offerings. Ability to synthesize customer, market, operational, and financial insights into actionable portfolio recommendations. Proven ability to influence and align cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment, including service, sales, marketing, finance, and platform/product stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in international and cross-cultural environments, collaborating across regions, functions, and diverse stakeholder groups. Strong analytical skills with experience using service performance metrics to drive portfolio decisions and growth actions.
