R&D Project Manager

Job description

Repligen is seeking an experienced R&D Project Manager II to join our team on a 12-month temporary contract. This role is responsible for leading the development and implementation of new and customized products, with a primary focus on single-use bioprocessing equipment and solutions. You will manage multiple cross-functional product development projects from concept through commercialization, working closely with Engineering, R&D, Product Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Commercial teams. The role is based on responsibilities outlined for the former NPI Project Manager position.Key Responsibilities Lead multiple new product and customized product development projects from concept through commercialization. Develop and execute project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements. Manage project risks, issues, and change activities throughout the product lifecycle. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful and timely project execution. Facilitate project meetings, design reviews, prototype builds, testing activities, and documentation development. Drive alignment across stakeholders and provide regular project status updates. Support product transfer into manufacturing and commercialization activities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another relevant technical discipline. Minimum 5 years of project management experience in product development within industrial equipment, biotechnology, life sciences, medical devices, or related industries. Strong understanding of project management principles, including traditional and Agile methodologies. Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects in a dynamic and fast-changing environment. Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
