This role is based at our Hyderabad Tech Center and follows a hybrid working model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). Candidates are expected to reside within commuting distance of the Hyderabad office. Role Overview We are looking for a Data Visualization Developer with strong Power BI experience to design, build, and deploy business-ready dashboards, reports, and semantic data models. The role will partner with business stakeholders, Data Engineering teams, and Agile delivery teams to convert data into clear, actionable insights using scalable and governed reporting solutions. What will you do in this role Design, build, deploy, and maintain Power BI dashboards, paginated reports, and interactive reporting solutions. Create optimized Power BI semantic models, datasets, measures, and report data models to support business KPIs and analytics needs. Translate business requirements into intuitive visual designs, reporting layouts, and actionable insights. Work with Data Engineering teams to source, validate, and model data from Data Lake, Databricks, and other enterprise data platforms. Develop reusable reporting components, templates, and visualization standards to improve consistency and speed of delivery. Apply performance tuning, data governance, and security best practices across Power BI reports and models. Work in Agile delivery teams, participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and iterative solution delivery. What Should you have: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. 4+ years of hands-on experience in data visualization development, with strong focus on Power BI reporting, data modeling, and dashboard delivery. Strong hands-on experience in Power BI report development, dashboard design, semantic model creation, DAX, Power Query, and data refresh configuration. Ability to design, build, test, deploy, and maintain Power BI reports and data models for business users. Experience working with database and cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Data Lake, Snowflake, Redshift, Oracle, or similar technologies. Ability to write SQL queries to validate, transform, and analyze data for reporting and visualization needs. Understanding of data engineering concepts, data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and collaboration with Data Engineering teams. Advanced visualization design experience, including executive dashboards, KPI scorecards, drill-through reports, and interactive storytelling. Experience working in Agile delivery teams, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and iterative delivery. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a matrixed environment with minimal direction. Nice to have Skills Experience with write-back capability using Inforiver or similar Power BI extensions. Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into clear reporting solutions and actionable visuals. Exposure to Pharma, Biotech, or enterprise analytics environments is a plus.
