The Material Handler, Production Operations (day shift) at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics plays a key role in supporting day‑to‑day manufacturing activities by ensuring the timely supply of materials and components for production. The role is responsible for stock control activities, movement and storage of finished goods, requisitioning materials, and supporting kit preparation, packing, labelling, and inspection activities. The Material Handler maintains accurate records and documentation while ensuring compliance with GMP, quality, safety, and housekeeping standards. You will support daily manufacturing operations to ensure reliable and consistent production output and support and execute Kanban-driven material replenishment runs. This position reports to the Manager Manufacturing Operations IA/BV and is part of the Production Operations department located just outside Tulla in Lismeehan, O'Callaghan Mills, Co. Clare and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Role Specific Responsible for supplying Lines with components and materials required for production. Movement and storage of Finished Good to Warehouse. Cycle Counting. Disposal of Expired Stock. Obtaining stock on Requisitions Orders for other Departments. Requisitioning stock from main Warehouse. Operate equipment when training has been completed. Packing and labelling of kits where required. Preparation of packing Components for Kits where required. Kit/Vial inspection as required. General Ensure that all Operations are performed to comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and Quality System Regulations. Comply and Co-Operate with any changes to processes, machinery layout, production techniques, new equipment and processes. Maintain neat and accurate records, logs and documents as required. Understand and follow through on all relevant procedures and ensure compliance. Compliance with Set Housekeeping rules within the Department. Compliance with the Dress Code Regulations. Compliance with all Environmental and Health and Safety regulations. Train other Personnel in any aspect of Job Function as required. The essential requirements of the job include: Leaving Certificate or equivalent. Physical/Environment Requirements: This is an active, hands-on role that requires standing and moving throughout the workday. You'll work across manufacturing, laboratory and office environments, gaining exposure to multiple aspects of the production process. The role may involve working in cleanroom and controlled manufacturing areas, where adherence to PPE requirements and contamination control standards is essential. You'll follow established processes and procedures while ensuring the timely supply of materials and components for production. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety, quality and compliance are critical to success in this role. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Working in a Manufacturing Operations role as part of a team using problem solving tools in a manufacturing work environment Knowledge and experience of GMP in a highly regulated manufacturing work environment.
