The Senior Manager of Global Strategy is responsible for supporting the development of a winning top-level strategy for Danaher Diagnostics globally. This will include driving the research, analyses, and cross-functional engagement that support all forms of strategic decision-making at Diagnostics, across product prioritization, commercialization, investments, partnerships, M&A considerations, and more. This position reports to the Group Vice President Strategy and Business Development and is part of the Global Strategy function, the role will be fully remote. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Landscape market opportunities by profiling existing market dynamics and deriving the strategic implications to Diagnostic’s organic and inorganic efforts Characterizing the strategies of our key competitors and understanding opportunities for Diagnostic to create sustainable differentiation Conducting primary research to understand Diagnostic’s customer base and the ways in which Diagnostics can significantly advance patient care Learning about changing market dynamics related to non-physician stakeholders such as payors, regulators, health system leadership, etc. Contribute to the development of Diagnostic’s annual strategy plan The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor’s Degree 3+ years in business strategy or commercial planning or at a top-tier consulting firm, focused on growth, strategy or commercial domains Domain experience in diagnostics industry or adjacent industry experience (e.g., medical device, life sciences, pharma / biotech, science and technology tools) Experience in the development of corporate strategies that span geographies, many product lines, and organic + inorganic growth opportunities It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: MBA or Graduate Degree in relevant domain preferred Industry experience beyond consulting This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
