Summary Provides senior-level professional services delivery for hybrid cloud and data center solutions, with primary emphasis on enterprise data protection and virtualization. Leads client engagements from discovery and design through implementation, migration, validation, documentation, and knowledge transfer. Serves as a trusted technical advisor who can own project delivery and guide strategic technology conversations with clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs implementations of overall solutions for clients, including development of solution designs, implementation plans and documentation. Develops Logicalis standards for scoping, documentation, and implementations. Provides, as subject matter expert, guidance, assistance and recommendations to determine new technical services and solutions for client’s business. Leads project teams to deliver successful implementations. Performs expert integration and customized consulting services. Satisfies client technology services and solution requirements using best practices to: Design Plan Implement Validate and Test Document Provide Knowledge Transfer Troubleshoot Support Works directly with client to gather requirements, design solutions, build proof of concepts and implementations solutions. Delivers consultative-based knowledge transfer and documentation to Logicalis’ clients. Works with RMO and PMO in scheduling and managing engagements. Works with Logicalis’ clients to perform assessments, health checks, performance tests, and capacity planning. Responsible for product evaluation, process improvement, and practice refinement activities. Establishes relationships with clients by demonstrating strong listening skills. Builds credibility and trust by delivering what has been promised within established timeframes. Maintains focus on client satisfaction and expectation management. Mentors and trains team members on working in collaborative environment. Leads data protection, virtualization, infrastructure modernization, migration, business continuity, disaster recovery, and cyber resiliency engagements. Translates business, recovery, security, and operational requirements into resilient solution designs and implementation plans. Owns technical project execution, proactively manages risks and dependencies, and communicates status, decisions, and recommendations to client and internal stakeholders. Develops and applies automation using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, or vendor APIs to improve consistency and repeatability. Maintains technical knowledge and certifications aligned with Logicalis partner requirements and strategic solution priorities. Demonstrates and actively promotes an understanding and commitment to the mission of Logicalis through performing behaviors consistent with the organization's values. Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations as well as policies and procedures of Logicalis in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behaviors. Education/Experience/Technical Requirements/Certifications Equivalent combination accepted. Education Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Experience / Technical Requirements Demonstrated success leading enterprise infrastructure projects and owning client-facing technical conversations, solution designs, implementations, troubleshooting, documentation, and knowledge transfer. Advanced design and implementation experience with at least one enterprise data protection platform: Veeam, Rubrik, or Commvault. Working knowledge of backup architecture, immutability, recovery validation, ransomware resilience, and operational recovery practices. Advanced experience with at least one virtualization platform: VMware vSphere or VMware Cloud Foundation, Nutanix AHV, Microsoft Hyper-V, or HPE Morpheus VM Essentials. Experience with more than one platform is strongly preferred. Design and implementation experience with enterprise storage platforms such as Pure Storage, Dell Technologies, NetApp, or HPE. Knowledge of SAN and NAS technologies and connectivity, including Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, and NVMe-based solutions. Design and implementation experience with enterprise server platforms such as HPE ProLiant, Cisco UCS, or Dell PowerEdge. Experience designing or executing business continuity, high availability, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, failover and failback, recovery testing, and cyber recovery solutions aligned with business RPO and RTO requirements. Experience planning and executing system, workload, hypervisor, storage, server, or data protection migrations with documented cutover, rollback, validation, and risk-management plans. Working experience with Ansible and/or Terraform. PowerShell, Python, REST API, or vendor automation experience is a plus. Strong administration and troubleshooting experience with Windows Server and Linux in enterprise environments. Knowledge of networking, SAN fabrics, identity, security, monitoring, and cloud connectivity required to integrate data center solutions end to end. Ability to produce clear low-level designs, implementation plans, migration runbooks, as-built documentation, test plans, and knowledge-transfer materials. Ability to travel nationally to client sites as required by project scope. Certifications One or more of the following: Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) or VMCE+. VMware Cloud Foundation 9.0 Administrator (2V0-17.25) and/or VMware Cloud Foundation 9.0 Architect (2V0-13.25). Rubrik Certified Systems Administrator (RCSA), Rubrik Certified Cyber Resilience Specialist (RCRS), or Rubrik Certified Cloud Specialist (RCCS). Nutanix Certified Professional – Multicloud Infrastructure (NCP-MCI), Nutanix Certified Professional – Data Services (NCP-DS), or a higher-level current Nutanix credential. HPE Product Certified – HPE Morpheus VM Essentials Software, including HPE2-T39 or its successor. Current Commvault Professional, Engineer, or implementation certification applicable to data protection delivery. Current Pure Storage, Dell Technologies, NetApp, or HPE storage implementation or administration certification. Current HPE Compute, Cisco Data Center/UCS, or Dell PowerEdge implementation certification. Red Hat, Linux Foundation, Microsoft Windows Server/Hybrid Administrator, HashiCorp Terraform, or Red Hat Ansible certification is a plus.
