The Opportunity As a Account Specialist - Tissue Diagnostics - you will be responsible for generating revenue and maximizing sales growth by closing sales. Aligned with field sales representatives, you will sell and service accounts where you will engage with customers and respond to customer inquiries, which may require research and follow-up. To be successful in this position, you will have the ability to: Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales goals Create and deliver differentiating messages and quantifiable economic value to sell Roche products and services Overcome objections and negotiate to close sales Engage in uncovering and qualifying sales leads resulting in Salesforce funnel growth Engage on-going account support and execute programs and campaigns to meet the customer and Roche's needs Maintain timely, complete and accurate customer data for assigned territory in Salesforce Utilize resources including but not limited to SAP, Salesforce.com, Agiloft, and Tableau Create sales and/or service amendments and contracts in a timely fashion to ensure coverage/close. Generate warm leads by using provided talk tracks and customer lists There is a 10% travel commitment Who you are Bachelor’s Degree in science based field or related field Customer facing experience 1-2 years experience in sales, telemarketing, technical or related experience Behaviors, competencies, and qualities of the ideal Account Specialist - Tissue Diagnostics Aptitude to learn, present, negotiate, persuade, and sell products/material to meet/exceed quota High attention to detail - excellent oral and written communication skills Critical thinking skills and problem solving skills Ability to evaluate and create ingenuity when needed Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting/exceeding goals Team player and self starter Ability and willingness to take ownership of individual and team goals and persist despite obstacles and opposition Experience with software such as SAP, Excel, Outlook, etc. Ability to drive revenue in a fast-paced organization Ability to work in matrix organization and regulated environment Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is $47,300.00 - $87,900.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position is eligible to earn incentive compensation that is calculated and paid in accordance with the applicable Incentive Compensation Plan for the role.
