What You’ll Do This is a senior product leadership role responsible for defining and driving the strategy, roadmap, and execution for critical AI & Data Platform capabilities from India. You will operate with high autonomy as the senior product voice in-region, partnering closely with global engineering and product leaders. Key impact areas include: Own and execute the product vision and roadmap across Fabric, AI & Data Governance, and Capacity & Cost Intelligence Drive deep customer and market discovery to identify high-value problems and translate them into scalable platform capabilities Define clear product requirements (PRDs, user stories, success metrics) that enable engineering teams to deliver with speed and precision Lead cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Architecture, Go-to-Market, and Customer Success Act as the primary product leader representing India within a globally distributed organization Elevate product management excellence by mentoring and coaching PMs across the India team Success in this role will look like: Delivery of high-impact platform capabilities aligned to customer needs and business outcomes Strong alignment across global stakeholders and effective execution across time zones Measurable improvements in product adoption, platform usage, and customer trust Elevated PM capability and consistent high-quality product artifacts across the India team In addition, this role offers: The opportunity to shape one of the most strategic AI & Data Platforms in the enterprise market High visibility and direct impact on Teradata’s global product strategy and growth The ability to define and elevate product management excellence in India A collaborative, inclusive, and globally connected leadership environment Competitive compensation including salary, bonus, and equity participation Ongoing investment in your professional development and leadership growth Who You’ll Work With A globally distributed Product and Engineering organization spanning India and the US Engineering leaders, architects, and platform teams building Teradata’s AI & Data Platform Cross-functional stakeholders across Go-to-Market, Pricing, and Customer Success A growing community of Product Managers in India (direct and indirect influence) You will act as a senior product leader in India, working in close partnership with US-based leadership while shaping local product culture and execution standards. What Makes You a Qualified Candidate 12+ years of product management experience, including significant exposure to enterprise data platforms, cloud infrastructure, or AI/ML tooling Proven track record of owning complex product portfolios end-to-end—from strategy through execution and iteration Strong technical depth in modern data architectures (data lakes, warehouses, lakehouses, streaming, hybrid/multi-cloud) Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment in global, matrixed organizations Experience mentoring or coaching product managers and elevating team-wide product management capability What You’ll Bring Expertise in data governance, FinOps, or platform instrumentation and analytics Familiarity with tools and ecosystems such as Collibra, Alation, Apache Atlas, or cloud cost management frameworks Knowledge of open data formats (e.g., Iceberg, Delta, Hudi) and cloud-native analytics services Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS/PaaS business models, including consumption-based pricing Exposure to AI/ML platform components such as MLOps, feature stores, or LLM infrastructure Experience operating within large-scale engineering centers in India Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (MBA preferred) #LI-PG1
