Job description: Development of novel organometallic or silicon-based compounds (including synthesis, purification, and analysis) for ALD/CVD thin film processing. Currently AL is present in 80 countries with more than 66,000 employees. This position will be for a researcher of Metal Oxides and Nitrides group in Air Liquide Laboratories Korea (Seoul). He/she will be responsible for synthesizing new organometallic precursors for ALD/CVD technology and developing cutting-edge technologies for the semiconductor industry. The researcher will work in a multicultural environment and closely with internal and external customers and partners. Required skills: We are seeking a skilled chemist with extensive experience in the design, synthesis and purification of organometallic and/or silicon-based compounds. The main responsibilities will be: Design and synthesis of organometallic and/or silicon-based compounds and purification Analysis using NMR, TGA, DSC, mass spectrometry, etc. Timely and concise reporting (R&D reports, patent applications, internal meetings, customer meetings, etc.) Lead and organize the tasks within work packages/project Mentoring junior scientists and interns Support interactions within Air Liquide group and with other customers Join the safety activities Are you a MATCH? Desired profile: Minimum: Related M.S degree with 3-5 year experience, Preferred: Ph.D with some additional experience or Postdoc Languages: English business level required. E-mail exchanges and meetings are held in English. Korean: Conversation level is a plus.
