Job Description: Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Flight Management System V&V Engineer to join the Flight Management System (FMS) design office team. The role is based in Toulouse, France. As a FMS Validation & Verification Engineer you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks that covers the Validation & Verification of an FMS development over the full product lifecycle. Your challenges: Contributing to the Requirements and V&V Management (RVVM) activities; defining and driving the system Validation & Verification activities over the full development lifecycle, within a project team. These include: requirements management, laboratory & flight testing, supplier's management Anomaly identification, management & closure Attending regular simulator test sessions jointly with FMS Lab team. Ensuring that FMS Validation & Verification is fully integrated with the activities of our internal customers and stakeholders, Multi-System Functions' owners, FMS designers and suppliers. Supporting related safety & certification activities The final mix of the above tasks will be tailored based on your competencies, aspirations, and of course on our project needs. In a constantly moving and dynamic transnational environment you will have a large and rewarding number of interfaces including major multi-national suppliers, other aircraft system teams, laboratory and flight test teams, civil or military aircraft programs, safety, certification, airworthiness, etc. Your boarding pass: An aeronautical / systems / avionics engineering degree (or equivalent) Technical expertise: tools, frameworks, regulations Proven experience in Avionics System Development, Project management capabilities Your curiosity and technical appetite for complex functions and systems developments.
