Job Description SummaryWe are looking for an Intern – Performance & Reliability Testing to join our Patient Care Solutions team in Helsinki. This position is intended for a university student who can work part-time during academic semesters and full-time during summer and other study breaks, with flexibility to accommodate studies and availability. In this role, you will join a team responsible for the performance, reliability, and system integration testing of our patient monitoring products. Your daily work will include executing, maintaining, and developing automated performance and reliability tests, analyzing and reporting test results, and contributing to improvements in our test infrastructure and automation solutions. You will play an important role in helping ensure the quality, reliability, and safe operation of software used in life-saving medical devices. Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesParticipate in maintaining, monitoring, and enhancing the performance and reliability test systems for patient monitoring products. Execute automated and manual test activities and analyze test results. Contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation solutions. Support continuous improvement of test infrastructure, tools, and processes. Document findings and communicate results clearly within the team. Depending on skills and interests, design and implement new system test automation solutions. Optionally design and implement system test automation. Qualifications and ExperienceCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Health Technology, Bioinformation Technology, Automation, or a related discipline. Preferably completed one to three years of university studies. Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work methodically, independently, and persistently while maintaining good documentation practices. Strong teamwork and communication skills in English. Legally authorized to work in Finland. Desirable SkillsExperience with Git, Python programming, software testing, test automation, or CI/CD systems. Familiarity with Robot Framework or similar test automation tools. Experience using AI-assisted development tools. Knowledge of Linux environments. Interest in medical technology and regulated software development. Working Arrangement Flexible student position: The role is designed to accommodate university studies. We typically expect part-time availability during academic semesters (for example 2-3 days per week) and full-time availability during summer and other study breaks.
