Job Description SummaryThe EHS Coordinator supports the delivery of GE HealthCare's EHS program across ANZ, with a primary focus on injury management, workers compensation administration and practical day-to-day operational support. The role coordinates injury management files from initial notification through to return to work, working with employees, leaders, insurers, rehabilitation providers and medical practitioners to support safe, timely and sustainable outcomes. Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities1. Injury Management & Return to WorkManage injury management and workers compensation files across relevant Australian and New Zealand jurisdictions. Coordinate return-to-work activities in consultation with employees, people leaders, treating practitioners, insurers and rehabilitation providers. Prepare, monitor and maintain return-to-work plans, suitable duties plans, medical certificates, capacity updates and claim correspondence. Maintain confidential records in accordance with privacy, workers compensation and internal document control requirements. Lodge, track and follow up workers compensation claims and associated insurer actions as required. Monitor open injury management actions, claim progress, costs, lost time exposure and return-to-work milestones. Escalate delays, psychosocial or complex injury risks, disputed capacity, non-compliance or other material issues to the EHS Manager. 2. Day-to-Day EHS Operational SupportSupport incident, near miss and hazard reporting processes, including record keeping, action follow-up and status reporting. Assist with workplace inspections, risk assessments, corrective action tracking and local EHS program implementation. Maintain EHS registers, dashboards, files, training records and compliance evidence to support audit readiness. Support contractor management activities, including document reviews, induction records and follow-up of required evidence. Coordinate EHS meetings, communications, campaigns, toolbox material and employee engagement initiatives. Provide practical EHS administrative support to field teams, office teams and business leaders as required. 3. Reporting, Systems & Continuous ImprovementEnter, update and quality check information in relevant EHS systems, including injury, incident and action management platforms. Prepare routine injury management, incident and operational EHS reports for review by the EHS Manager. Identify recurring issues, overdue actions, data gaps and opportunities to simplify or strengthen processes. Support audits, assurance activities, document reviews and implementation of improvement actions.
