This position reports to: LSU Lead Division Controller DE and Local Division Controller Traction DE __ The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-Hybrid Your responsibilities In this role, you will combine Controlling, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and digitalization. You will develop data-driven solutions, optimize existing Finance processes, and leverage new technologies such as AI, automation, and Microsoft Copilot within our Controlling environment. You will work closely with the Local Division Controllers and other stakeholders, with the opportunity to actively develop existing structures and drive new solutions forward. You will be mainly accountable for: Business Intelligence & Reporting Developing and continuously enhancing Power BI dashboards, reports, and KPI systems Building and optimizing data models and self-service reporting solutions Preparing complex data to support well-founded management decisions Further developing the existing reporting and Controlling setup Controlling & Data Analytics Supporting the Local Division Controllers with forecasts, budgeting, and variance analyses Analyzing and further developing production controlling and monthly reporting Analyzing and combining large volumes of data from SAP, Salesforce, and other systems Identifying cost drivers, trends, and optimization opportunities Developing data-driven analyses and approaches for predictive analytics Ensuring and continuously improving data quality AI, Automation & Digitalization Identifying and implementing AI and automation opportunities, particularly using Microsoft Copilot, AI agents, and Power Automate Applying prompt engineering to develop AI-based solutions for Finance and Controlling processes Digitalizing and optimizing existing Finance and Controlling processes Contributing to the further development of the system landscape, particularly SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Fabric, and Power Platform Innovation & Continuous Improvement Actively challenging existing processes, structures, and reporting solutions Developing and implementing your own ideas and improvement proposals Analyzing the existing Controlling setup and deriving concrete change and optimization measures Developing creative and efficient solutions for dashboards, visualizations, processes, and reporting You will join a dedicated and talented team. Qualifications for the role Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or a comparable field Professional experience in Controlling and a good understanding of Finance processes Very good knowledge of Microsoft Power BI Experience with SAP FI/CO and/or SAP S/4HANA Knowledge of Power Query and DAX Initial experience with Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, or comparable AI and automation solutions Strong interest in artificial intelligence, data analytics, and digitalization Ideally, knowledge of Snowflake Strong initiative, creativity, and a continuous improvement mindset Ability to identify optimization opportunities and independently develop concrete solutions Enjoyment of rethinking data, technology, and Controlling Ability to visualize and communicate complex topics in an understandable way Structured, analytical, and independent way of working Willingness to critically challenge existing processes and explore new approaches High level of openness to innovation and continuous improvement Additional qualifications that are an advantage: Knowledge of GitHub Experience with Python Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and/or Azure Initial experience with Machine Learning Good knowledge of SQL Benefits Retirement Plan Flexible work practices Learning & development offering Daycare subsidy for childcare under the age of 3 Please note: In the case of equal suitability, people with severe disabilities and their equivalents are given preference.
