We are looking for a senior Cash Management professional with 15+ years of experience within leading international banks, combining deep knowledge of the Italian Transaction Banking market with strong Product and Sales expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and scaling BBVA’s local Cash Management franchise in Italy, accelerating Local and Inbound business while continuing to develop Outbound opportunities across BBVA’s global footprint. The role requires extensive experience across Payments, Collections, Liquidity Management and Connectivity, together with a proven commercial track record, strong relationships within the Italian Corporate market, product development expertise and the ability to lead and influence teams across a complex international organization. About the job: Define and execute the Italy Cash Management Strategic Plan. Build and lead the local CM team. Develop the Local, Inbound and Outbound businesses. Define client segmentation and the target coverage model. Identify and prioritize local product gaps. Develop the local product roadmap in coordination with Global CM/Product. Drive Payments, Collections, Liquidity and Deposits growth. Establish commercial targets and KPIs. Monitor revenues, profitability, balances, transaction volumes and budget execution. Drive intra-GTB cross-sell across Deposits, Trade Finance, Working Capital Solutions and FX. Represent Italy within the Global Cash Management organization. Requirements International Banking Experience Minimum 15 years of experience in Cash Management / Transaction Banking within a leading international bank. Strong understanding of the Italy Corporate and Transaction Banking market. Experience working within international and matrix organizations. Strong network across Italy Corporates, Treasury Centers and the broader treasury ecosystem. Cash Management Product Expertise Deep knowledge of Accounts, Payments, Collections and Liquidity Management. Strong understanding of Italy payment infrastructure, including Faster Payments, CHAPS and Bacs. Experience with connectivity solutions including APIs, Host-to-Host, SWIFT and ERP/TMS integration. Knowledge of international liquidity solutions, including Cash Pooling, cross-border liquidity and intercompany payments. Experience identifying product gaps and working with Product and Engineering teams to develop new capabilities. Commercial & Client Coverage Proven track record in selling sophisticated Cash Management solutions to Corporate and Institutional clients. Ability to engage credibly with CFOs, Group Treasurers, Treasury Centers and senior finance executives. Experience leading RFPs and complex regional/global Cash Management mandates. Strong capabilities in pipeline management, pricing, negotiation and conversion. Educational Background Economics or Engineering degree is desired. The annual fixed salary associated with the position starts at 93.060,00 € gross per annum. The salary stated above is indicative and corresponds to the annual fixed salary associated with the position. In addition, the following shall apply: The variable remuneration scheme established by the Bank and in force from time to time, designed to recognise individual performance and contribution to the collective achievements of both the Bank and the relevant business unit, in accordance with the applicable criteria and internal policies. Any other salary components, allowances or supplementary payments that may apply pursuant to the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement, internal policies, or the specific conditions of the role and the successful candidate.
