WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Within our Middle Office Treasury EMEA team, you gain broad insights into corporate treasury operations and contribute to a variety of activities across Banking, Financing & Planning or Hedging in an international environment. Depending on your background and development path, your responsibilities may include following tasks: In this role, you take end‑to‑end responsibility for daily and monthly liquidity planning and financial forecasting, acting as a key interface and sparring partner for Corporate Treasury and other senior stakeholders. You oversee cash disposition activities, including manual cash pooling across multiple BASF legal entities in the EMEA region, ensuring liquidity optimization, accuracy, and compliance with internal guidelines. you drive and safeguard a consistently high level of cash flow forecast accuracy by performing in‑depth analyses of forecast deviations, root causes, and trends, leveraging detailed reports and insights to actively support informed decision‑making. You are responsible for financing activities for BASF companies in EMEA, including coordination, execution, and monitoring of financing measures in close alignment with Corporate Treasury and external partners. You ensure high standards of documentation and knowledge management, and you take ownership of recurring and ad‑hoc management reports, contributing to transparency, audit readiness, and informed decision‑making. Furthermore, you are expected to actively collaborate and contribute to internal Treasury projects, support compliance and Financial Risk Control (FRC) activities, providing guidance and stability to the team.
