About The Role You are expected to provide technical solutions for complex research assignments using existing and new technologies, methods, etc. Actively drive the technical development and knowledge gain for BASF on respective research fields. How You Will Do It Develop binder and additive solutions for battery application, including lithium-ion, sodium ion, and solid-state batteries. Develop further technical solutions using existing and new technologies, methods etc. Take ownership of projects and drive progress with R&D colleagues, business units and collaboration parties. Present project ideas and conclusions at review meetings. Closely follow and evaluate scientific publications and patents to identify plausible solutions and new methods. What We Look For PhD in polymer chemistry, polymer physics and/or electrochemistry.
