Job Description: The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Portfolio Operations Analyst for Transportation & Electronics Business Group, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. You will play a key role for Material Create & Extend (MCE) and Phase in Phase Out (PIPO) projects in the TEBG product verticals (Electronics, Commercial & Graphics Solutions, Aerospace and Transportation). In this role you will work with and provide guidance to Global and Area Portfolio Marketers to ensure their MCE and PIPO projects are scoped and scheduled to align with Division and Portfolio business priorities and will be responsible for ensuring those projects are completed on time. Here, you will make an impact by: Executing Material Create and Extension (MCE) requests in alignment with established processes, timelines, and business priorities. Applying working knowledge of end-to-end material creation processes, material master data governance, and master data setup requirements. Escalating issues, potential delays, or process blockers promptly to ensure timely resolution. Communicating across multiple functions and stakeholders to drive timely actions and meet project objectives. Ensuring compliance with data quality standards aligned with global and divisional data governance requirements. Troubleshooting workflow delays and initiating or completing resolution activities in a timely manner. Supporting organizational changes and assisting with the transition of activities within the team. Providing backup support to other team members as needed to ensure business continuity. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university Work experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Marketing, Master Data Management Professional knowledge of materials, including the processes, technical requirements, composition, creation process, and cycle time critical to the role. English - Strong verbal and written communication skills Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: SAP experience Lean / Six Sigma Certified (Green Belt/Black Belt) European language proficiency Proficiency in Excel Knowledge of Systems - Global Material Create and Extension (Global MCE) , SharePoint, Horizon, SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft 360 Tools Supporting Your Well-being 3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
