THE ROLE: AMD is seeking a highly strategic, results-oriented Chief of Staff to partner with the Head of Product Management and Product Marketing for the Adaptive and Embedded Computing Group (AECG). This role will serve as a force multiplier for the organization by driving strategic growth initiatives, market expansion, revenue acceleration, and disciplined executive execution. The Chief of Staff will lead high-impact, cross-functional programs spanning product strategy, portfolio planning, revenue growth, customer engagement, and outbound marketing. Working closely with leaders across Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Finance, Corporate Marketing, and Business Development, this individual will identify new growth opportunities, improve business performance, and increase market adoption of AMD adaptive and embedded solutions. Success will be measured by the ability to translate strategy into measurable outcomes, including increased revenue, expanded market share, stronger customer engagement, improved organizational effectiveness, and successful execution of AMD's most critical growth priorities. THE PERSON: The ideal candidate is a trusted strategic advisor and hands-on operator who can bring clarity, alignment, and momentum to complex business priorities. This individual combines strong business judgment with executive presence, analytical rigor, and the ability to influence across functions without direct authority. They communicate with precision, anticipate challenges, and consistently convert broad objectives into focused plans, accountable ownership, and measurable results. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Partner with the Head of Product Management and Product Marketing to define, prioritize, and execute strategic growth initiatives across the AECG portfolio. • Lead cross-functional operating rhythms, executive reviews, planning processes, and decision-making forums that improve accountability, visibility, and execution. • Translate business strategy into clear objectives, milestones, owners, metrics, and executive-level reporting. • Analyze business performance, market dynamics, customer needs, competitive positioning, and portfolio opportunities to inform investment and growth priorities. • Coordinate with Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Finance, Corporate Marketing, and Business Development to remove barriers and accelerate execution. • Develop executive presentations, strategic narratives, business updates, and recommendations for senior leadership and key stakeholders. • Identify organizational and process improvements that strengthen collaboration, operating efficiency, and business performance. GROWTH MARKETING & MARKET ACTIVATION: • Partner with Product Marketing, Corporate Marketing, Sales, and Business Development to develop and execute integrated go-to-market strategies that accelerate revenue growth and market adoption. • Drive strategic outbound marketing initiatives, including product launches, customer campaigns, industry events, executive engagements, webinars, digital campaigns, and thought leadership programs. • Track and measure the business impact of marketing investments, campaigns, launch activities, and customer engagement programs. • Coordinate executive messaging, keynote content, customer presentations, competitive positioning, and external communications to strengthen AMD's market presence and influence. • Partner with field sales and business development teams to identify opportunities to increase awareness, customer engagement, pipeline creation, design wins, and customer conversion. • Ensure alignment among corporate priorities, product roadmaps, customer needs, and outbound marketing activities. SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE: The successful candidate will: • Drive initiatives that contribute directly to revenue growth, design wins, and market expansion. • Improve execution and visibility across strategic growth programs and key business priorities. • Increase the effectiveness of outbound marketing, product launches, and customer engagement activities. • Strengthen alignment across Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, Marketing, and Business Development. • Develop executive-level insights that influence portfolio investments, market strategies, and growth priorities. • Become the operational and strategic leader who transforms business strategy into measurable business results. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: • Demonstrated leadership as a Chief of Staff, strategy, business operations, product management, product marketing, or comparable cross-functional role. • Experience driving complex strategic initiatives across product, sales, marketing, engineering, finance, and business development organizations. • Strong understanding of portfolio planning, go-to-market strategy, market activation, revenue growth, customer engagement, and business performance management. • Proven ability to develop executive-level insights, presentations, and recommendations from complex business and market information. • Experience establishing operating mechanisms, measurable objectives, and reporting that improve accountability and execution. • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and influence skills, including effectiveness with senior executives. • Experience in semiconductors, adaptive computing, embedded markets, or related technology sectors is preferred. ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, marketing, or a related discipline is preferred; an advanced degree is desired.
