The Attach & Train Programme is a structured talent development programme designed to build skilled talent for Singapore’s advanced biomedical manufacturing sector through practical, industry-based training that develops the technical skills and capabilities needed to support the industry’s current and future workforce needs. As a Training & Document Control Trainee, you will work alongside experienced professionals during a 15-month structured training programme. You will support Quality Operations activities to help ensure that manufacturing and production processes meet AbbVie quality, operational, and compliance requirements. Due to the nature of the programme and its eligibility requirements, applicants must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents. What You’ll Do Support Quality Operations activities across manufacturing, warehouse, engineering, and QC areas to help ensure compliance with approved company policies, procedures, and GxP requirements. Assist with the review of incoming material inspection packages, batch records, manufacturing logs, line-clearance activities, and Quality Logs, including QA Hold and QA tag-out activities. Support the release of incoming materials, in-process materials, and finished product batches under the guidance of experienced Quality professionals. Participate in investigations related to non-conformances in materials, QC testing, manufacturing processes, warehousing, or products, including root-cause analysis and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) implementation. Assist with quality data trending, identify potential quality or compliance risks, and contribute to continuous-improvement and Kaizen initiatives. Develop knowledge of change management by supporting cross-functional risk assessments, change-control activities, and coordination with global Quality teams. Participate in Annual Product Quality Reviews, Product Quality Assurance activities, quality-system implementation, new product introduction, and operational-excellence projects. What You’ll Learn Practical manufacturing Quality experience through exposure to material controls, batch documentation, production-floor oversight, and product release activities in a regulated pharmaceutical environment. Core investigation and compliance skills by supporting deviation investigations, root-cause analysis, CAPAs, quality risk management, and change-control processes. Cross-functional collaboration and continuous-improvement skills by partnering with Manufacturing, QC, Engineering, Warehouse, and Quality teams to identify opportunities to strengthen site processes. Bachelor’s degree in Science (e.g., Biology or Chemistry), Pharmacy, Engineering, or a related discipline. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Internship, project, or work experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical Quality, Compliance, or GxP environments is a plus. Familiarity with GxP requirements, quality systems, quality risk management, and standards applicable to APIs and biologics. Exposure to SAP and TrackWise is a plus. Strong analytical, planning, and organisational skills, with attention to detail. Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams. Highly motivated, adaptable, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality, integrity, and compliance.
