This position reports to: Business Line Controller, Regional Business Line Europe __ Your role and responsibilities As a Cost Controller, you will have the opportunity to utilize your engineering skills and product knowledge to support sales and support the financial performance of the business. This role contributes to the Motion High Power Division, Business Line Motors & Generators, based in Helsinki. The High Power Division offers a comprehensive product portfolio, including customized designs for various industries. The division focuses on developing high-efficiency motors and generators that are critical to a wide range of industrial applications. You will join a skilled cost modeling team and have the chance to learn from your colleagues. We offer a hybrid working model; however, the role requires on-site presence at our offices in Pitäjänmäki for 50% of the working time. You will be mainly accountable for:Product cost management, including cost assessment for tender calculation, cost follow-up and market data impact analysis for materials Maintaining and further developing product cost management processes and tools Providing visibility and feedback to functions on product cost performance against plan, driving cost improvement initiatives in collaboration with factory, SCM and engineering teams Sharing knowledge and supporting its application within your area of responsibility Closely collaborating and sharing information between sales, SCM, product management, project execution, and production, acting as the link between sales and operations Following commodity trends and assessing the impact on product cost Maintaining and further developing the cost modeling tools and processes Qualifications for the role You have experience in product costing, finance in a manufacturing environment, production, or SCM M.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills You are proactive and have a development-oriented mindset Good teamwork skills and willingness to lead and partake in cross-functional teams Ability to keep to deadlines You are comfortable communicating in English A valid working permit to Finland is required Knowledge of SAP and powerBI considered a strong advantage More about us The High Power Division offers a comprehensive product portfolio of large AC motors and generators.
