Job Function: Supply Chain Deliver Job Sub Function: Warehouse & Distribution Job Category: People Leader All Job Posting Locations: Singapore, Singapore Job Description: This position is a key contributor for warehousing and distribution activities for J&J Regional Distribution Centre (RDC), responsible for inbound operations, inventory management, 3PL relationship management, adherence to compliance requirements and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include day-to-day management of inbound and inventory operations, strategy implementation, cost management, continuous improvement, service levels and adherence to compliance and quality standards. Duties and Responsibilities: Warehouse & Distribution Oversee all activities related to inbound movement of product: inbound-to-DC transportation, master data maintenance, inbound inspection, goods receipt processing, returns, claims and general warehousing. Liaison with 3rd party logistics provider (3PL) in managing the handling and receiving of stocks from source to the warehouse. Ensure fulfilment and closure of all incoming RDC orders from source, through close coordination with 3PL and Regional Planning team (RPT). Responsible to track and monitor key performance measures in Port-to-dock management, Perfect receipt, Dock-to-stock management, On-time returns and Inventory accuracy. Collaborate with Quality and warehousing teams on efficient management of inbound products into the DC from source, driving actions that effectively reduce business waste through damaged products. Lead and manage Inbound related continuous improvement projects to drive efficiency in costs. Work with Regulatory Affairs & Governance team (RAG) in ensuring accurate regulatory reporting of incoming stock and value, to maintain the import entity model status to Singapore customs. Inventory Management Oversight of the inventory control procedures (e.g. cycle count, audit count, inventory adjustments, etc) to ensure highest quality of compliance. Timely reconciliation of inventory and optimize real time visibility of inventory and SKU levels, ensuring maximum availability of stocks to support order fulfilment and service. Drive inventory health and age through robust cross-functional collaboration. Forecast and monitor supply and demand of inventory, and analyze data to anticipate future needs and risks on warehouse storage capacity. Responsible to track and monitor key performance measures like Capacity & Utilization, Inventory accuracy, etc. Quality & Compliance Activities Ensuring QA and Regulatory compliance, change management and timely closure of all quality related actions of the processes (SOP, WI, NCR, CAPA and Audit closures). SOX lead for inventory and inbound operations related actions/audit requirements. Engagements Active participant in key performance management and collaboration forums, such as 3PL MBR, APAC Operations QBR and S&OP forums. Linking with internal stakeholders (Franchise/Regional Planning, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, Regional COE, HCC, Procurement, Technology, etc) and manage external stakeholders (3PLs, Freight forwarders, Custom Brokers, etc.) across the organization. Work with Inter-Regional Transport team in managing forwarder performance as part of service to the Affiliate markets. Act as SME for regional hub distribution in cross functional teams, representing RDC. Authorities: Approval for all the warehouse/distribution (inbound/inventory related) spend. Approval for inventory-related adjustments and activities. PO processing process in Ariba for RDC. Approver for transport and freight invoices in Ariba for RDC. Approver for SAP roles application for RDC Inbound and Inventory. Approver for CAPAs for RDC Qualification: University/Bachelor’s Degree or Equipment or Master In Business Administration Minimum of 5 years of supply chain experience required, ideally in a distribution or customer service role. Experience in the healthcare sector is a plus. Technical Skills: Excellent collaborative skill. Ability to work locally, across businesses, sectors, and functions. Strong understanding of warehousing/distribution processes, and Supply Chain KPIs. Experienced with ERP/SAP and Customer collaboration system Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Strong analytical ability. Quality & compliance mindset and a drive for continuous improvement. Leadership skills and ability to build, motivate and retain effective teams. External interactions may include customers, industry partners, third-party distribution centers and suppliers, and transportation providers. Ability to translate complex situations into simple working solutions. Work Experience: 7+ years of supply chain experience or multiple functions exposure. Experience working in a highly matrixed, global organization is critical for success.
