In the role of Healthcare System Partner every day, you will be able to: Drive health policy shifts one of the largest biotech companies in the world by engaging government, institution, academic and patient stakeholders to shape the healthcare system Have an impact that will be felt locally and globally because you are recognized as a strategic partner bringing healthcare solutions. Grow and develop NOW, given opportunities to coach and develop your peers Invest time in accelerating progress in health policy and doing what they need to be the best they The Opportunity: Act as a trusted partner and is the primary (but non-exclusive) point of contact between political government relations and ecosystem stakeholders and Roche. Responsible for identifying, mapping, engaging and managing ecosystem stakeholders. Look across the individual ecosystem and catalyze our ability to see broader trends and patterns in health care systems. Bring the inside out to bring the Roche expertise, science and knowledge out to the ecosystem. Partner with healthcare system stakeholders to drive health policy and system innovation and unlock possibilities to deliver greater value to the ecosystem and society. Optimize engagement and influence and shared purpose with our healthcare system stakeholders so that the national and regional public policy and access landscape continues to be sustainable Partner with the external environment so that we can shape and deliver innovative and health care and policy solutions that serve our health care system for the mid and long term Who You Are: You are an empowered leader and the local face of Roche working closely with system-level healthcare stakeholders and identifies shared purpose and value, co-creates solutions and co-implements them across ecosystems, indirectly impacting outcomes for patients. University Degree (scientific, economic, or business degree). An advanced degree in life sciences and/or MBA is an asset, but not required. Education in political science, health policy, and communications. Relevant experience in life sciences or health care and the government sector is an asset. A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in influencing health system, market access, and policy shaping Experience in stakeholder management Experience in leading and contributing to high performing cross functional teams is required. Cross functional leadership experience in both formulating cross-functional strategies and orchestrating cross-functional teams is desirable. Systems thinking and deep listener with an ability to build cohesive strategy plans to drive stakeholder engagement and policy shifts Strong communication skills - ability to communicate with impact and influence at all levels internally and externally; empathetic communicator Ability to travel depending on the business need. May vary from limited travel to up to 40% (across the western provinces and/or to head office) This position is not eligible for relocation support. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Mississauga is 136,936.00 and 179,728.50 of hiring range. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors as determined by the company.
