Figma’s Brand Studio owns and drives creative initiatives across the company—from campaigns and launches to brand storytelling and visual identity. As a Brand Design Intern, you’ll get hands-on experience inside that team, contributing real work to real brand moments while learning how craft, systems, and storytelling come together at scale. You’ll partner closely with the Brand Studio team, and get exposure to cross-functional partners along the way. This is a chance to build foundational skills in a professional creative environment, grow your point of view, and leave with a stronger portfolio and a clearer sense of what a career in brand design looks like. This internship will be based out of our San Francisco Hub with a June 1, 2027 OR June 14, 2027 start date. Applications must be submitted by Friday, October 2nd, 2026 at 5:00pm PT to be considered. What you’ll do at Figma: Support the creation of visually engaging brand work across campaigns, launches, and storytelling moments Assist in exploring visual directions for the Figma brand through image-making, typography, and composition, with guidance from senior designers Contribute concepts and drafts that are refined through feedback and mentorship from the team Help execute scalable visual systems and toolkits under the direction of the team Collaborate with Brand Studio partners and gain exposure to cross-functional partners Research and share new creative references, tools, and techniques, including AI-powered workflows Practice bringing craft and intentionality to work, from early explorations through to final files Present work-in-progress and finished work to the team, and incorporate feedback into revisions We’d love to hear from you if you have: A portfolio (school projects, personal work, or previous internships) that shows visual curiosity and a developing sense of craft across image-making, composition, typography, and color Working proficiency in Figma Strong visual communication skills and comfort sharing early, unpolished work for feedback Comfort navigating ambiguity and asking questions to gain context While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have: Exposure to motion or animation tools (e.g., Figma Motion, After Effects) Early experimentation with AI-powered image or content generation tools Familiarity with brand systems or design systems, even at a coursework level See some of the work our team has helped bring to life: Digital tools, human expression: The visual identity behind Config 2026 Just our type: The story of creating Figma Sans Publish your designs on the web with Figma Sites Updating our web system for a new era At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go.
