Job description

As our Production Planning Specialist, you will oversee a variety of areas in supply chain and inventory management. You will oversee logistics processes, conduct in-depth materials analyses, and make recommendations to support the overall supply chain and manufacturing goals for local operations. This role serves as a liaison between the supply chain function and business units to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities Work arrangement: On-site / Hybrid. Oversee logistics processes, conduct in-depth materials analyses, and make recommendations to support manufacturing goals. Participate in the process of developing and maintaining forecasts, inventory levels, and production schedules. Gather logistics data and monitor inventory trends to forecast potential challenges and opportunities. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement supply chain strategies that accelerate product flow. Conduct cost analyses, forecast demand, negotiate prices, and ensure compliance with Avery Dennison’s supply chain and inventory standards. Minimum 3 years experience in supply chain management, inventory management, and data analysis. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and production planning skills. Ability to negotiate with stakeholders and create and leverage professional connections. Excellent focus and a high level of adaptability in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Strong commitment to delivering high-quality work and resolving conflicts effectively.
