Job Description: In order to support our Extended Enterprise department, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Manufacturing & Industrialization Engineer (m/f/d) – Supplier Operations (d/f/m)Within the Extended Enterprise at ADS, we are seeking a skilled professional with a proven track record in metallic, composite, and assembly technologies to lead the industrialization process within our German supplier base. In this strategic role, you will act as a vital link between Airbus and our supplier industrial teams, taking ownership of the extension of processes and procedures for the Extended Enterprise across our Manching site. Your tasks and responsibilitiesIndustrial Focal Point & Leadership: Act as the primary technical and industrial interface between Airbus internal functions (Procurement, Design, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering) and external suppliers for all manufacturing topics. Industrialization & Execution: Lead the industrialization of new work packages (WPs) and major modifications, ensuring full compliance with Quality, Cost, and Schedule targets (OTOCOQ). Technology & Process Assessments: Provide technical assessments for Additive Manufacturing (AM), metallic, composite, and assembly technologies, ensuring knowledge capitalization across Airbus D&S. Supplier Capability & Auditing: Evaluate supplier industrial capabilities, process validations, capacity, and manufacturing flow robustness to support RFP evaluations and Make/Buy decisions. Quality & Non-Conformance Management: Coordinate Material Review Board (MRB) activities, drive non-conformance reduction, and support suppliers in achieving and maintaining RP3 certification. Process Optimization & Offsets: Drive continuous improvement (Lean Manufacturing) across the supply chain and lead high-impact industrial offset projects, including international travel to key supplier locations (e.g., India or the UAE). Compliance & Sustainability: Ensure supply chain compliance with environmental standards (e.g., acting as the manufacturing focal point for the REACH project) and the Airbus Code of Conduct. Desired skills and qualificationsEducation: Degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or an equivalent qualification). Professional Experience: Proven track record in manufacturing, assembly, and special processes (metallic, composite, or Additive Manufacturing) within a supplier quality, industrialization, or manufacturing engineering role. Project & Matrix Leadership: Strong capability to lead projects autonomously, manage transversal supply chain initiatives, and coordinate cross-functional teams. Methods & Tools: Good working knowledge of industrial methods and tools (e.g., SAP, Demat, SNT, or similar). Language Skills: Fluent in English and German (written and spoken) — Mandatory. Mobility: Willingness to travel internationally to key supplier sites (e.g., India, UAE, or within Europe).
