A Day in the LifeThe Quality function supports manufacturing operations by ensuring products, materials, and processes meet established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. This role partners closely with manufacturing and quality teams to perform inspections, testing, documentation review, and data analysis that support product quality and compliance activities. This position is located in Eatontown, New Jersey and requires an onsite work arrangement, working five days per week at the facility. Travel is expected to be minimal to none. The Quality Technician V is responsible for performing advanced quality inspections, testing, analysis, and documentation activities to support compliance with quality system requirements and manufacturing standards. This role serves as a subject matter resource in quality testing and inspection processes, evaluates product and material conformance, reviews production records, and supports quality reporting and regulatory compliance activities. The role is also responsible for closing non-conformances and carrying out the product dispositions. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Perform advanced inspections, analyses, and testing of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process samples, and finished products to verify compliance with established quality standards and specifications. Conduct quantitative and qualitative testing activities using approved procedures, methodologies, and testing equipment. Review manufacturing and production records to ensure compliance with established procedures, documentation requirements, and quality standards. Investigate and perform non-conformance testing on manufactured, packaged, or tested products and document findings. Prepare, maintain, and monitor quality metrics, statistics, and reports to support quality system performance and compliance activities. Complete required inspections, evaluations, analyses, and study documentation in accordance with quality system and regulatory requirements. Support the creation and modification of inspections and inspection activities. Drive the closure of nonconformance reports once the disposition has been determined. Accurately document testing results, inspection findings, and quality records in accordance with applicable procedures and quality requirements. Guide and mentor other members of the department as needed. Must Have: Minimum Requirements To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident in your applicant profile. High School Diploma or vocational/technical education with advanced certification and 15+ years of experience in quality inspection, testing, manufacturing quality, or a related quality function. Nice to Have Experience performing quality inspections, testing, and analysis within a manufacturing or regulated production environment. Experience reviewing manufacturing or production documentation for compliance with established procedures and quality requirements. Experience documenting inspection results, testing data, and quality records in accordance with quality system requirements. Experience supporting human tissue products, medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments. Advanced knowledge of quality control methodologies, inspection techniques, and testing procedures. Experience conducting non-conformance investigations and supporting corrective action activities. Experience generating, analyzing, and reporting quality metrics and performance trends. Experience with SAP, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Minitab. For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required. Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$76,000.00 - $114,000.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
