Reports to: Store and Shipping Supervisor Work Location: Québec, QC Employment Type: Full-time Schedule: Day Shift Position Summary Are you looking for a structured and fast-paced work environment? Do you have an interest in logistics, transportation, and shipment coordination? Join our team as a Shipping Coordinator. In this role, you will contribute to the efficient execution of logistics operations by coordinating the receipt, shipment, and transportation of goods. You will work within a structured environment where organization, attention to detail, and collaboration are essential to ensuring effective service delivery to both internal and external customers, while meeting quality, compliance, and cost requirements. Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and monitor transportation and shipping activities to ensure efficient, compliant, and operationally effective deliveries. Prepare, verify, and manage documentation related to shipments, receipts, and transportation activities, ensuring adherence to all applicable regulatory and customs requirements. Manage relationships with carriers and logistics service providers, including performance monitoring, issue resolution, and the continuous improvement of service levels. Control transportation costs through invoice validation, expense tracking, and the optimization of shipping methods and transportation strategies. Collaborate with internal production, procurement, and planning teams to support end-to-end logistics operations, maintain data accuracy within systems, and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes. Qualifications College Diploma (DEC) in a relevant field such as Logistics, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar logistics, transportation, or shipping coordination role. Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience working with SAP or a comparable ERP system. Bilingualism in both French and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Sound knowledge of transportation processes and documentation management. Working Conditions Clean, quiet, and climate-controlled production environment. Comprehensive in-house training provided.
