Lead, Server Rack Components Supply Chain

Job description

Meta is seeking a Planning & Capacity Engineer to join the Capacity Planning & Delivery team to focus on planning optimization for Meta’s server and network rack supply chain. This role will focus on creating and optimizing supply chain plans at various altitudes to balance capacity, flexibility, supply capability, and cost, from base components to finished goods, in an environment of continual product introduction, directly managing billions of investments annually. We will do this primarily by building software and mathematical optimization models. The team is uniquely positioned to develop and optimize these capacity plans and scalably manage exceptions at the most strategic levels with company level impact. This role is cross-functional and provides an opportunity to work with a variety of engineering and business teams to power the rapid growth of Meta’s products. This role will help to ensure optimal deployment and operation of our infrastructure from both a cost and a technology perspective, with millions of servers, gigawatts of data center capacity, and cutting-edge technology including advanced AI.
