The Clinical Assistant provides Sleep Diagnostic testing to the client while collaborating with referring physicians and ensuring patient safety. The incumbent will work directly with all clients, referral sources and funding agencies to deliver high quality clinical evidence based care. Additionally, the incumbent continuously works on growing the overall business through excellent customer service.Conduct appointments and set-up of equipment for sleep diagnostic testing based on American Academy Sleep Medicine (AASM) guidelines. Actively promotes related products and provides solutions to client needs. Responsible for maintaining most up to date continuing education as related to the position to ensure that clients are receiving most current therapies and devices. Recognizes the importance of client safety in the Air Liquide Healthcare organization. Responsible for following established company protocols for the cleaning and disinfection of all equipment. Responsible for all required administration tasks. Ensures quality documentation through completion of all company documentation and forms (both digital and non-electronic) as per policy. Maintains client confidentiality and protects Air Liquide Home Healthcare operations by keeping information confidential. Seeks to continuously improve the operation of the branch by evaluating processes and workflow, and participating in other quality improvement activities. Provides new staff and student instruction, supervision and evaluation when necessary. Staff providing diagnostic sleep services (HSAT) are qualified + competent as per provincial regulatory bodies (BC-DAP + AB-CPSA). __________________Are you a MATCH? College Certificate or Diploma in Medical Office Administration or medical background preferred. Staff providing diagnostic sleep services (HSAT) are qualified + competent as per provincial regulatory bodies (BC-DAP + AB-CPSA). The successful candidate will be provided education on site.
