JOB SUMMARY The position is responsible for preparing the financial materials to be used in external financial reports. Additionally, this position will also be responsible for ad-hoc special projects (i.e. technical accounting research, equity-based compensation programs). The Associate Financial Reporting Analyst is an entry-level position and will work under direct supervision and in accordance with established procedures and guidelines to support the preparation of financial materials to be used in external financial reports. Additionally, this position will also be responsible for ad-hoc special projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Technical Accounting • Work with sites to ensure proper documentation has been submitted for new leases and prepare lease analysis. • Prepare and provide information for Company’s SEC filings including Form 10-Q’s and Form 10-K’s. • Research accounting guidance for miscellaneous issues. • Assist team in implementing new accounting pronouncements throughout the Company. • Complete ad hoc analysis and special projects as deemed necessary by management within the specified deadlines. • Prepare timely reports and communication with functional areas. JOB QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. • 0-2 years of experience. • The ability to identify, understand a problem and its root cause, and research effective solutions. • Strong attention to detail and organization. • Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills. • Proficiency in understanding and use of Excel. • Strong sense of teamwork and collaboration with an emphasis on building solid working relationships. • Demonstrated knowledge of Accounting concepts, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP) and SEC reporting requirements. • Simultaneously balances multiple responsibilities; prioritizes tasks based on urgency and relevance. • Results driven and ability to meet deadlines. • Understanding of the political and societal impacts on business across multiple countries. • Ability to extract and analyze data to identify trends, anomalies and differences.
