Job Description: Job Overview Build a high-performing team. Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and drive Thailand plants business growth through migration projects and NPI execution. Manage supplier/commodity strategy, optimize sourcing processes Job Requirements Strategy Develop Thailand procurement strategies aligned with business objectives Develop and implement category strategies for key components Analyze market trends, cost drivers, and technology roadmaps Lead make-vs-buy and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis Execution Lead transfer projects and meet KPIs (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Development) Drive timely NPI execution Accelerate RFQ, quoting, and business decision processes Identify cost reduction opportunities Supplier Management Develop scalable supplier ecosystem in SEA region Identify, evaluate, and onboard global suppliers Build long-term strategic supplier partnerships Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement Cost Management & Negotiation Lead commercial negotiations including pricing and contracts Drive cost reduction initiatives (VA/VE, should-cost modeling) Manage budgets and deliver cost targets Team and Cross-Functional Leadership Build and develop a high-performing team Coach and upskill team members Promote teamwork and continuous improvement in culture Partner with engineering, operations, and product teams during NPI Influence design decisions for cost and manufacturability Support demand planning and inventory optimization Risk & Supply Continuity Identify supply risks such as single sourcing and shortages Develop mitigation plans including dual sourcing strategies Manage supplier capacity during constraints Contract & Compliance Management Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (RoHS, REACH) Maintain ethical sourcing standards and company policies What your background should look like Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or above (Engineering preferred) 12+ years of sourcing experience in plastics, stamping, plating, machining, Cable/PCBA/PCB experience is a plus High Speed Cable/Cable/Connector industry experience preferred 8+ years of global/regional sourcing experience preferred 5+ years souring manager experience, additional people management experience in SQE/Supply Chian is a plus Fluent English Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and negotiation skills, present capability Cross-functional collaboration capability Familiar with SAP and MS Office Integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation Competencies SET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers) Job Locations: 179 Moo 4, Northern Region Industrial Eastate Lamphun, Lamphun 51000 Thailand Posting City: Lamphun Job Country: Thailand Travel Required: 25% to 50% Requisition ID: 150876 Workplace Type: Onsite External Careers Page: Procurement Apply Now Start apply with LinkedIn Please wait...
