AIRBUS offers an internship (curricular practicum) program aimed at students who are in the last year of their degree with the main objective of acquiring professional skills through the development of a project in the company. What do we offer?: Internship (curricular practicum) program + Bachelor’s Degree Final Project (TFG). Mission: You will prepare a final year training project that will allow you to complete your official studies. About practical training: 6 months of curricular practicum at AIRBUS from February to July 2027 Part time: 5h / day - 25 hours per week (8h-13h) Tutor assignment for continuous monitoring What does this internship consist in? During this internship, you will join the Airbus engineering team and work on real integration problems under the supervision of a company mentor. The Flight & Integration Test Center of Competence offers the opportunity to join its organization within the Integration and Analysis domain. This domain is at the heart of aircraft development, providing independent testing services to all development loops along the product/solution lifecycle for all flying platforms. Our domain is responsible for conducting integration tests in virtual environments, laboratories, and at the aircraft level. We ensure the seamless integration of subsystems and systems from an end-to-end perspective, providing evidence and assessments of the integrated design solutions. In addition to virtual and laboratory testing activities, our team supports Flight Test campaigns by: Performing systems monitoring through telemetry, when available. Analyzing flight test results and generating final campaign reports. Our test support covers the entire lifecycle of systems, from development through to certification and qualification. Final project (TFG) to be carried out by the student: During the internship your tutor will guide you to prepare your final project oriented to gain competences on Integration Test and Analysis based both on technical documentation and on-the-job activities Scope: E2E testing of an on-board system (to select: General System, Powerplant, Flight Control System, Avionics, etc.) Content: Aircraft or UAS system architecture, V&V strategy, Test Strategy and detailed Plan, Test Means requirements, Test Procedures definition, Monitoring screens definition, Test Execution, Test Results and Analysis. Responsibilities: As an intern, you will learn on-the-job the main duties of a test engineer, including: Challenging and harmonizing test requests in line with the associated test and verification & validation (V&V) strategy. Defining detailed test methodologies and required means for virtual, laboratory, and aircraft tests. Defining and requesting instrumentation means to acquire data from test platforms. Writing test procedures and test cases. Developing and validating data reduction and analysis tools. Managing the usage of the telemetry room for real-time analysis and support during dedicated flight tests. Validating measurements and test results. Identifying, analyzing, and reporting anomalies and deficiencies encountered during test execution. Providing test reports to the responsible design office. Contributing to the development, renewal, and strategy for test means and testing processes. Supporting the achievement of integration maturity in line with project planning. Required Skills: Studying Degree in aeronautical/aerospace, industrial, electronic, or telecommunications engineering. High level of English proficiency (Minimum level B2, C1 desirable) Spanish, French, and/or German will be considered an asset. Analytical and problem-solving skills Team spirit and great collaboration skills Ability to work in international environment Programming skills in Python and/or Matlab are desirable. Interest in pioneering the use of the latest technologies such as artificial intelligence and data analytics.
