We work in the area where complex technology meets a global service organization and we have to drive the organization from a business perspective. Our team operates across multiple locations, including Eindhoven, The Netherlands; Brno, Czech Republic; and Portland, OR, USA. Job Overview: You will be part of the Product Serviceability team, which objective is to incorporate serviceability into new product developments. In this way Field Service is enabled to scale with company growth and increase product complexity. Together with business leader and with the help of subject matter experts (GTS) you will form a team for all activities within the Materials and Life Sciences business units. In this area you will be key in advancing innovative R&D projects securing flawless service. Key Responsibilities: Acts as a partner for field Services, Factory and R&D, specifically highlighting and resolving structural Service issues in the product design and Service processes. Together with the Business lead Sciences generating service strategies per NPI project on Service improvements, spare-parts, field introduction, verification, training and data. All synchronized with service commercial portfolio and service support models. Quantify Service requirements to customer value and / or business value as input for the business case. Securing quality of service requirements for new products to deploy service strategy Address gaps in New Product Introduction (NPI) process and drive process improvements in the product generation process. Drive and maintain Service NPI Roadmap Sciences Building service requirements pipeline for product portfolio Collaborate with Business Units, R&D and product marketing Enhance efficiency to team up with operations when it comes to overlapping objectives Keys to Success: The ideal candidate for this position enjoys working in a multi-disciplinary technical environment, using sophisticated processes to address problems within a multi-cultural team. You have the capability to collaborate with individuals across all levels of the company and relish discovering inventive ways to achieve success. Education: BSc or MSc degree in a technical field or a combination of technical & marketing education and experience that demonstrate required skills Basic technical knowledge of Electron Microscopy and related business7Solid understanding of effective project management, data analysis and budgets Experience and Behaviour: Shown experience in a R&D and / or operational management environment Solid understanding of developing product/service roadmaps, value stream mapping Some Business acument is preferred to be able to convert Service value to business values.
