The Position Content Design & AI Readiness Specialist Roche Diagnostics is a division of Roche. In the role as the Content Design & AI Readiness Specialist, you will be a member of the Knowledge Strategy & Language Operations Subchapter. With your experience with conversational AI, technical documentation, and natural language processing, you will ensure that our content can be processed and used in various AI applications and digital channels. Additionally, you will help to govern and improve these applications by driving chatbot dynamic engineering, voice processing accuracy, and feedback analysis ensuring a good user experience. The opportunity: As a Content Design & AI Readiness Specialist, you will join the Knowledge & Learning Chapter and contribute to the future of AI-supported knowledge delivery. You will optimize technical content for both human readability and AI consumption, ensuring accessibility and consistency across digital platforms. Develop and maintain structured, machine-readable technical content ready for use in generative AI platforms (e.g., RAG architectures). Enhance content discoverability and user experience by managing metadata, search synonyms, prompt libraries, and best practices for AI-assisted retrieval. Improve voicebot accuracy by creating and maintaining phonetic lexicons and fine-tuning Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) models. Collaborate with subject matter experts to align taxonomy, metadata, and content governance across teams and platforms. Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on AI tools, content structuring, and best practices. Monitor content performance and user feedback to continuously refine and improve delivery across digital touchpoints. Who you are: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computational Linguistics, Technical Documentation, or related field (Master’s preferred). 5+ years of experience in Knowledge Management, Technical Documentation, Information Architecture, or related areas. 3+ years of experience in conversational AI. Familiarity with generative AI tools, Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and speech/voice tech integration, and their applications in content delivery. Scripting experience with Python is highly desired (e.g., for data manipulation, prompt prototyping, or text analysis). Strong understanding of technical documentation standards (e.g., DITA) and knowledge management systems. Experience with natural language processing, voice recognition workflows, and SEO is an advantage. Excellent communication skills, with awareness of cultural diversity in a global environment. Strategic mindset with the ability to connect ideas, solve problems, and navigate complex systems. Proficiency in English (spoken and written), knowledge of additional languages is a strong asset.
