Work Flexibility: Hybrid The Customer & Employee Events Sr. Specialist is a flexible, shared-service role within the Customer & Employee Engagement (CEE) team that supports a diverse portfolio of Meetings and Events, Trade Shows and Employee Engagement programs, shifting focus and priorities as business demand fluctuates. This role often receives direction from multiple managers within the CEE and broader Communications team. It requires strong adaptability, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions while planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events and experiences that align with divisional objectives, brand standards, and budget requirements. Operating with clear direction and alignment, this role independently manages multiple projects and priorities simultaneously to deliver successful outcomes and achieve business goals. What you will do: Provide flexible support across Customer & Employee Engagement functions, adjusting priorities, resources, and workload as business demand fluctuates. Plan and execute Meetings and Events, Trade Shows, and Employee Engagement programs in alignment with divisional objectives, timelines, and budgets. Manage assigned meetings, events, and engagement activities that vary in size, scope, and complexity, including leadership meetings, training programs, product launches, employee events, trade shows, and special events. Coordinate event logistics, including attendee communications, registration, travel arrangements, hotel accommodations, rooming lists, meeting materials, food and beverage, audiovisual requirements, venue coordination, billing reconciliation, and post-event follow-up. Assist with the development and tracking of event budgets, control documents, timelines, and planning tools to ensure successful execution and compliance with established processes. Partner with internal stakeholders to understand event objectives and support the delivery of effective and engaging event experiences. Collaborate with team members across Meetings and Events, Trade Shows, and Employee Engagement functions to support evolving business priorities and resource needs. Deliver high-quality attendee experiences for both in-person and virtual events while maintaining attention to detail throughout the planning process. Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met. Maintain effective relationships with vendors, venues, and external partners to support successful event execution. Support onsite event execution as needed, including attendee management, logistics coordination, vendor oversight, and issue resolution. Ensure events comply with company policies, procedures, and financial guidelines. Gather attendee and stakeholder feedback and provide recommendations to improve future programs and event experiences. Contribute to the continuous improvement of event planning processes, tools, and best practices. Stay informed on industry trends, event technologies, and engagement strategies to enhance program effectiveness. Perform additional event-related projects and responsibilities as assigned. What you need (required): Bachelor’s degree required 2+ years of experience in meeting, conference, tradeshow or special event planning Proven experience managing multiple, concurrent meetings, including back-to-back programs Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences Experience negotiating contracts with hotels and external vendors Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with Marketo, SharePoint 365, Zoom, Teams, and Monday.com or similar platforms preferred United States of America Pay Ranges: USN: $64,400 - $94,400 USD Annual US5: $67,600 - $99,100 USD Annual US10: $70,800 - $103,800 USD Annual View the U.S. work location and transparency guide to find the pay range for your location.
