The Fill Tech is capable on at least one machine/value stream Understanding and execution of all safety requirements associated with equipment and process Must communicate clearly and positively with operators, leads, supervisors, maintenance etc. Must be able to operate fork truck, pallet mover, barrel cart and various other material handling/moving equipment Must be able to complete same material barrel change out in standard five (5) minute process time including removal of empty barrel; installation, hook up and approved run-off of new barrel, and removal and disposition of empty barrel (to good or bad barrel location) Must be able to recognize and troubleshoot pump and related equipment problems as part of the process. Must be able to disassemble and clean equipment to standard and reassemble to operation in standard time (we should identify one) Understanding of and ability to use all tools, equipment and materials, including but not limited to machines, hand tools, pallet and drum mover etc. Understanding of all quality requirements and ability to use and understand all quality and measurement tools and adjust the process to ensure quality requirements are met. Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment at all times. Must be able to trouble shoot, disassemble, clean and/or correct machine operating problems Must complete and maintain all production and quality paperwork required of process PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIRED At all Times: Safety glasses, Steel toed shoes/boots As Needed/Required: Gloves, Respirator GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English Must be able to read, write, comprehend and communicate basic Math Must be able to use various hand operated and handheld power tools – chisel, wrench, screwdriver, power driver, etc. Must be able to lift 40lbs continuously, be able to stand and squat for long periods and be able to go up and down stairs or platforms as needed.
