Position Summary Altera Digital Health is seeking an accomplished Assistant Vice President, Global Managed Services Operations to serve as the senior executive leader for our India-based Managed Services organization. Reporting to executive leadership, this role will be responsible for overseeing a large-scale global delivery organization supporting healthcare IT and other emerging technology markets. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership for service delivery, operational excellence, financial performance, workforce development, client satisfaction, and digital transformation initiatives. This executive will act as both a hands-on client-facing leader and an organizational leader responsible for building, developing, and inspiring high-performing teams. The role requires deep experience in IT Consulting, Managed Services, Professional Services, or Outsourcing organizations, along with a proven track record of leading complex global operations and driving organizational transformation. The ideal candidate will combine strong business acumen, operational discipline, market awareness, and a passion for innovation, particularly in leveraging Artificial Intelligence to enhance service delivery, productivity, client outcomes, and employee effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Serve as the executive leader for Altera's India Managed Services operations. Develop and execute a multi-year strategy that aligns with corporate objectives, market opportunities, and client needs. Partner with executive leadership to identify global growth opportunities across healthcare IT and emerging technology markets. Drive continuous operational transformation and organizational maturity. Client Executive Engagement Build trusted executive-level relationships with clients across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and other global markets. Act as a strategic advisor to customers regarding service optimization, digital transformation, AI adoption, and operational improvement opportunities. Ensure exceptional client satisfaction, retention, and expansion outcomes. Participate in executive business reviews, client escalations, and strategic planning sessions. Managed Services & Operational Excellence Lead large-scale delivery teams responsible for application services, managed services, consulting services, support operations, and professional services engagements. Establish best-in-class delivery practices, governance models, service management processes, and operational controls. Utilize metrics, KPIs, and analytics to drive accountability, efficiency, quality, and client outcomes. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Financial & Business Leadership Own P&L performance for assigned business functions, delivery organizations, and cost centers. Leverage new technologies to drive revenue growth, profitability, margin expansion, resource optimization, and operational efficiencies. Support sales, solutioning, pricing strategy, and business development initiatives. Identify and manage organizational, operational, financial, and delivery risks. AI & Digital Transformation Leadership Lead the organization's evolution toward greater adoption of Artificial Intelligence and automation capabilities. Develop strategies to improve service delivery effectiveness through generative AI, predictive analytics, intelligent automation, and emerging technologies. Champion innovation while establishing practical governance, adoption frameworks, and measurable business outcomes. Enable teams to leverage AI as a force multiplier for productivity, quality, and customer value. People Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing management team and global workforce. Build leadership pipelines and succession plans to support sustained organizational growth. Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and performance-oriented culture. Establish clear objectives, accountability measures, coaching practices, and professional development programs. Required Qualifications 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in IT Services, Managed Services, Professional Services, Consulting, Outsourcing, or related technology organizations. 10+ years leading large-scale global delivery teams and client-facing operations. 7+ years of executive leadership experience with responsibility for P&L management, organizational performance, and strategic planning. Demonstrated success leading geographically distributed teams serving global clients. Strong executive presence with ability to engage effectively with customers, industry leaders, and senior stakeholders. Experience driving operational transformation and process improvement initiatives. Track record of developing high-performing teams and leadership talent. Strong financial acumen with experience managing revenue, margins, utilization, and operational metrics. Deep understanding of service delivery frameworks, governance models, staffing strategies, and customer success programs. Preferred Qualifications Experience within Healthcare IT, IT Infrastructure, Digital Health, Electronic Health Records (EHR), Clinical Systems, Revenue Cycle, or Adjacent Healthcare Technology markets. Experience supporting other regulated industries and emerging technology markets. Proven experience driving AI, automation, and digital transformation programs. Experience working within large consulting organizations, managed services providers, healthcare technology firms, or global outsourcing companies. Knowledge of ITIL, Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or other service management frameworks. MBA, Master's Degree, or equivalent advanced education preferred. Strong understanding of global market trends impacting Managed Services, Healthcare Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and Digital Transformation.
