The Distribution Manager is responsible for leading daily distribution operations and developing the team at the Blue Ash Distribution Center. This hands-on role advances on-time delivery, quality, productivity, inventory accuracy, safety, and continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, and analytical problem-solving practices. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Global Logistics, Distribution & Service Operations and is part of the Shipping/Receiving and Distribution team located in Cincinnati, Ohio and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Lead day-to-day distribution operations and team development at the Blue Ash Distribution Center, ensuring customer orders ship on time and incoming materials are received on time to & from domestic and international locations. Own the Blue Ash site budget, inventory accuracy, and operational performance across safety, quality, productivity, and service metrics. Advance safety programs and Occupational Safety and Health Administration compliance to support a safe work environment for all associates. Develop workload-based productivity plans and champion Lean and Six Sigma practices to improve quality, eliminate waste, maintain current work instructions, communicate policies, and manage associate performance. The essential requirements of the job include: Minimum High School Diploma or GED required. Experience coordinating daily work, workflows, projects, or operational priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience using performance metrics to improve on-time delivery, receiving, inventory accuracy, productivity, quality, or budget performance. Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or comparable continuous improvement methods to solve operational problems and eliminate waste. Experience supporting workplace safety practices and compliance requirements in a distribution, warehouse, manufacturing, or related operations environment. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: Ability to travel is less than 5%, including domestic and international travel. Ability to work in a warehouse environment which includes material handling equipment, moving forklifts, and varying noise levels. Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including standing, walking, reaching, bending, stooping, and handling materials throughout the workday. Ability to occasionally lift and/or move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with team-lift assistance required for heavier items. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, operations, business, or a related field. Five or more years of experience in high-volume distribution, shipping and receiving, warehousing, supply chain operations, or a related environment. Experience formally leading and developing a team of associates, including performance management responsibilities. Experience with enterprise resource planning software such as SAP, international shipping and receiving, or third-party logistics provider management. The annual salary range for this role is $90,000 - $105,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
