Sales Engineer

Job description

Responsibilities: Provide technical and commercial consulting to existing and new customers within Austria, with focus on Western Austria Drive acquisition, retention, and strategic development of the assigned sales territory Take ownership of revenue growth and result-driven market expansion Prepare sales forecasts and identify new market opportunities (OEMs and Tier suppliers) Manage quotations, sampling, and contract renewals; ensure consistent follow-up Support product development activities, customer trials, and resolve technical issues Monitor market and competitor activities and derive strategic actions Represent the company at customer meetings, events, and trade fairs Ensure close coordination with internal stakeholders and structured reporting Qualifications: Strong sales orientation combined with excellent communication and customer focus Willingness to travel extensively (approx. 70%, including overnight stays) Solid technical background (engineering degree or equivalent experience) Experience or strong interest in the automotive industry is advantageous Good IT user skills (MS Office, CRM systems) Structured working style, team orientation, and ability to handle conflicts Valid driver’s license (Class B) Fluent in German and English (written and spoken) ‎ ‎ The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
