Job description
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for the assembly of optoelectronic test sets and fixtures used for the development and manufacturing of optoelectronic modules and line cards. The technician will work closely with Test Set Development Engineering to meet construction and prove-in schedules. In addition, the technician will perform electrical, optical, pneumatic, and mechanical test set modifications/maintenance on both a scheduled and as needed basis. Test Set Maintenance duties can also include minor commercial instrument repairs, coordinating repairs with vendors, and millwright activities during factory changes.
