Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech Position Summary The Process Excellence & AI Co-op will help to accelerate continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives across Supply Chain organization. This role will work directly with the Site Process Excellence Lead and partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to reduce cycle time, eliminate non-value-added activities, and improve productivity through Lean methodologies and AI-enabled solutions. The co-op will participate in Kaizen events, analyze business processes, develop AI-driven improvements, and support the adoption of new technologies that simplify work and enhance employee effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Partner with Site Process Excellence Lead and team to support cross-functional process improvement and Kaizen initiatives. Analyze current-state workflows to identify waste, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities. Develop and implement AI-enabled solutions that improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. Assist with process mapping, root cause analysis, and future-state design. Create tools, resources, and standard work that support continuous improvement efforts. Facilitate AI training sessions, workshops, and user adoption activities. Track and communicate results, including cycle time reduction, productivity gains, and business impact. Partner with teams across Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and other functions to drive sustainable improvements. Qualifications Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Interest in process improvement, Lean methodologies, automation, and Artificial Intelligence. Experience with Microsoft Office applications required. Exposure to AI tools, Power Platform, process mapping, or continuous improvement methodologies is preferred. The expected pay range for this position is between $27.00 per hour and $61.00 per hour but will be based on candidate's program year, discipline, degree and/or experience.
