Your Role: Own the Challenge The Drive Service Supervisor holds a key leadership position responsible for operational excellence, technical service delivery, and stakeholder management. This role oversees all aspects of drive service operations, including repair quoting, booking, quality assurance, team performance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement. The supervisor ensures all service activities comply with ABB standards, safety policies, and customer expectations while driving operational efficiency and revenue growth. The work model for the role is: On-Site This position is a new role contributing to the ABB Motion Services in Milton, Ontario. You will be mainly accountable for: Lead workshop operations including workload planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and capacity management. Supervise, coach, and develop service technicians while promoting a strong safety culture. Provide technical leadership for low-voltage drive diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and retro-fit activities. Ensure compliance with ABB quality standards, safety requirements, and operational procedures. Manage customer communication, repair quotations, service updates, and stakeholder engagement. Monitor shop performance, KPIs, revenue, and profitability while driving operational excellence. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, efficiency, and business growth. What it takes to run what runs the world Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering or a related technical field. 5-10 years of progressive experience in workshop, repair, service, or technical operations, in-cluding team leadership and hands-on experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) or low-voltage drives. Strong customer relationship, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience using SAP and service management tools; proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. English required; French English bilingualism is considered an asset. What's in it for you? While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $75,300 and $110,440 annually and is bonus eligible.
