About the job: Job Purpose & Objectives Support the development of the commercial franchise of the Equity Derivatives business in Asia, concentrating mainly on the coverage of Private Banks, Retail Banks and Family Offices in Hong Kong and Singapore. Key Responsibilities Involve in day-to-day equity derivative business, in adherence with the Bank’s policies and guidelines Provide market colour, commentary and research highlights to the team Provide feedback on client activity to internal stakeholders (mainly Trading) Collaborate with support functions Suggest ideas to enable cost efficiencies, reduction of operational risk, and scalability of the activity Experience of order handling will be a plus Knowledge & Skills Strong interpersonal skills, confident, excellent communication and presentation skills Previous internship experience preferred Reliable and trustable Language Fluent in English and Chinese Other Skills (e.g. Interpersonal, Communication etc) Customer-oriented Able to work in a multi-functional and cross-cultural environment Pro-active, self-motivated, fast learner A team player able to work in a fast-paced environment High integrity Job Posting BBVA Hong Kong will conduct a background check on you in accordance with the Mandatory Reference Checking (MRC) Scheme regulated by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA).
