Purpose: The Transparency Compliance Analyst is responsible for monitoring and reconciliation of transactions to ensure data is accurate and compliant with Sunshine Act, AbbVie’s OPPF, policies and procedures related to reportable transfers of value. The Transparency Compliance Analyst is also responsible for the successful close-out of activities, ensuring financial, transparency and compliance accuracy of all costs and activity associated with events as required by federal and state government reporting and regulations. Responsibilities: Support compliance with all US laws and company policies for interacting with Healthcare Providers (HCPs), Healthcare organizations (HCOs), and Patients as applicable. Ensure correct reporting for all Transfers of Value (TOV) from AbbVie to the reportable HCPs and HCOS for Puerto Rico activity and support HCP Dispute Resolutions. Achieve Transparency monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting deadlines with accurately reported data as well as conduct weekly data scrubbing for submission into the reporting system. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Sunshine Act transparency reporting requirements to assess general data quality issues that may impact ability to report information to the applicable agencies. Special Category Approver in SAP for transactions related to compliance with Sunshine Act Transparency. Resource for day-to-day processes related to compliance with Sunshine Act Transparency, analyze and determine the best course of action for each inquiry/problem, while producing timely reports and providing supporting documentation for audits. Support the implementation of transparency monitoring policies and procedures and training on them. Event Tool Management liaison for reporting processes including support to manager in the annual certification process. Frequent to continuous computer usage (greater or equal to 50% of the workday) is required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum Experience: 3 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial analysis, preferably working with Transparency reconciliations in a pharmaceutical company using SAP. Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge in Excel, proficient in Power Point, Word, Outlook and SAP. Knowledge of finance and accounting practices. Extreme attention to details, capable to perform insightful analysis, ability to problem solve, challenge the status-quo and identify efficient business solutions. Flexible, able to adapt to changing business priorities and can multitasks while delivering outstanding results within the reporting timelines. Strong interpersonal, oral, written communication and presentation skills, that allows understanding and alignment with others while building consensus across functions without direct authority, customer-service oriented, willing to train others. Must be able to work well independently with minimum supervision, as well as work as part of a broader team with a strong sense of urgency, personal commitment, and ownership over work. Must exhibit a high degree of integrity and must help enforce compliance with OPPF, policies and procedures using clear and courageous behavior.
