We are looking for a highly organized and strategic Demand and Inventory Planning Manager, forecasting customer demand, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring product availability while minimizing excess stock and costs. This role works cross-functionally with sales, operations, procurement, and supply chain teams to drive efficient planning processes and improve service levels. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and business inputs Collaborate with sales, and finance teams to incorporate seasonality and new program launches Monitor forecast accuracy and implement continuous improvements Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels for raw materials, WIP and finished goods. Develop and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize obsolescence, shortages, and excess. Collaborate with warehouse and procurement teams to optimize space utilization and stock movement. Implement inventory tracking systems and suggest improvements for real-time inventory visibility. Supply Planning & Coordination Align demand plans with supply capabilities and production schedules Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely replenishment Identify and mitigate supply risks and constraints Analytics & Reporting Track KPIs such as forecast accuracy, inventory turnover and stock-outs Generate regular reports and dashboards for Leadership team/management Use data analytics to identify trends and improve planning processes Process Improvement Lead S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) or IBP (Integrated Business Planning) processes Implement best practices and tools for demand and inventory planning Drive automation and system improvements (ERP, APS tools, etc.) Team Leadership Manage and mentor a team of planners Set performance goals and provide coaching and development Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field 5–8 years of experience in Demand and inventory management in a manufacturing setup Proficient in ERP systems (Oracle, or similar) and planning tools Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination abilities All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status or other protected status.
