In this role, you will drive operational efficiency by keeping production lines moving, optimizing asset utilization, and maintaining world-class data integrity across Airbus operational systems. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM Interrogate build sequences, line-of-balance metrics, and operational systems to manage kit deliveries, buffer locations, and parts flow from warehouse call-off straight to Assembly and Fabrications drop zones. Serve as the embedded supply chain focal point in daily shop-floor meetings, collaborating with lead hands, operational teams, planners, and service providers to resolve constraints and manage recovery plans. Process non-conformance demands, scrap, rejections, loose item shipments, and part shortages—executing accurate supply transactions across key management platforms (such as TIPQA and MAXIM). Conduct regular shop-floor audits across Assembly and Fabrications to maintain high system data accuracy, while generating essential operational documentation and ordering hardware/AGS components as needed. ABOUT YOU It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that sufficient detail is provided to demonstrate how they meet essential job criteria below, as this alone will be used for vetting purposes. Candidates must have: A minimum of a HNC + 2 years’ relevant experience; OR Alternatively, candidates with 3+ years of direct relevant experience without further formal education will be considered. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships across cross-functional teams (Operations, Quality, Methods, Service providers) under challenging business conditions. Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment and manage competing priorities (schedule, cost, lean inventory). Proficiency in handling dynamic and static data analytics and managing technical/logistics computer systems (e.g., MRP, non conformance systems, MS Office / Google Office applications). This role requires shift working as part of a Logistics team and with an operational team.
