This position reports to: Head of Project Management Office __ As Project Manager, you'll be at the heart of delivering projects that make a real impact for ABB's Energy Industries customers. From planning and execution through to successful completion, you'll bring together people, resources, and processes to keep projects on track, on budget, and aligned with customer expectations. Your Role and Responsibilities In this role, you'll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact. Lead the project team assigned to your projects, setting clear objectives, coordinating activities, and supporting team members to successfully achieve project milestones. Develop and maintain key project documentation, including scope, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk registers. Ensure projects are delivered in line with ABB processes, standards, and best practices, while effectively monitoring progress, performance, and resource utilisation. Manage project financial performance, including forecasting, invoicing, cost control, expenses, and cash flow. Identify, assess, and manage project risks and opportunities, implementing mitigation plans and driving actions to achieve positive project outcomes. Capture and share lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle and ensure projects are formally closed in accordance with contractual and business requirements. Support the application of contract and claims management processes in line with ABB policies and contractual obligations. Coordinate with Supply Chain Management to procure the services, materials, and equipment required to support project delivery. Work collaboratively with Supply Chain Management on supplier performance, negotiations, claims, and project changes. Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring expectations are managed throughout project delivery. Work model: Hybrid from our Daresbury or St Neots locations {#LI-hybrid} Qualifications for the Role Previous project management experience. Proven track record of managing project scope, costs, schedules, and vendors/subcontractors. Collaborative, solution-oriented approach with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Engineering degree, technical degree, or project management qualification. Passion for developing a career in project management and expanding leadership capability.
