Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our Manufacturing team in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. In this role, you will manufacture and test semi-complex assemblies used within our medical imaging products. Working from established procedures and work instructions, you will assemble components, operate tools and test equipment, document production results, and help identify and resolve product or process non-conformances. This is a hands-on manufacturing position for someone who enjoys working with mechanical and electrical assemblies, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is comfortable working within a highly regulated production environment. Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, with overtime available as needed You are responsible for: Assembling semi-complex products and sub-assemblies according to established work instructions and assembly procedures. Using hand tools, torque wrenches, fixtures, and other manufacturing equipment to complete assembly activities. Operating semi-complex fixturing and overhead cranes as required during the manufacturing process. Testing completed products and assemblies using established test equipment and procedures. Accurately documenting production activities, test results, and other required manufacturing information. Identifying, reporting, troubleshooting, and assisting with the repair of product and process non-conformances. Supporting the timely completion of systems and sub-assemblies while maintaining established quality standards. Performing work in accordance with applicable regulatory, quality, safety, and manufacturing requirements. Working independently or collaboratively with other members of the manufacturing team. Supporting production needs through overtime when required. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills and the ability to accurately enter and document production information. Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions and assembly procedures. Ability to safely use hand tools and torque wrenches. Ability to stand for extended periods during the workday. Ability to safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 40 pounds. Ability to work the scheduled shift of 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM and overtime as needed. Working knowledge of manufacturing operations, methods, practices, or a related technical area. Preferred qualifications: Previous electrical and/or mechanical assembly experience. Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment. Experience assembling or routing cables and wiring within mechanical or electrical assemblies. Experience using manufacturing test equipment and documenting test results. Experience identifying or troubleshooting product and process non-conformances. Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment. The base pay range for this position is: $40,720 - $55,990 Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
