The Opportunity Our location at Lake County, IL, currently has an opportunity for a Senior Manager of Strategic Initiatives The Senior Manager will play a critical role in defining global strategy and executing against key initiatives to drive revenue and margin growth across the organization. This role is collaborative and cross-functional, with frequent interaction across commercial, marketing, supply chain, manufacturing, and other teams. It is also high visibility in nature, with exposure across all key functional teams, including GMs and Senior Leadership, with projects spanning Asia Pacific, Latin America, and North America. WHAT YOU’LL DO Strategy design and development: support the five-year strategy development process and lead development for all executive deckbuilding (including monthly Ops package, quarterly financial LBE cycles, Board of Directors, Corporate Officers, and more), with visibility to the CEO and Senior Leadership team. Strategic Insights: act as key thought-leader with global function leaders, country GMs, and executive team as they develop their strategies and innovation roadmaps. Help design and execute key strategic initiatives to drive revenue and margin expansion growth. Market insights and competitive intelligence: utilize market research to analyze customer & market trends and identify white space opportunities. Leverage game theory and competitive intelligence to inform business decision-making/ competitive reaction. Business analytics: analyze internal data (sales, gross margin, web metrics & other KPIs) to inform strategic direction. Analyze new market opportunities and new product introductions. Program management: manage implementation of new initiatives globally; track business performance and initiatives against strategic objectives Executive communication: support the preparation and presentation of strategic project proposals and/or status updates to senior management. Ad hoc analysis: support executive team with special projects and tasks. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree: finance, accounting, economics, or engineering degree; preferred from top university At least 8-10 years of experience from top management consulting firm (McKinsey & CO, Bain & CO, Boston Consulting Group (BCG)) or Corporate Strategy function from a global FMCG or Pharmaceutical company. Preferred Qualifications MBA Strongly Preferred. Distinctive problem-solving skills (conceptual, analytical, quantitative); ability to move unstructured challenges to actionable solutions Ability to operate independently with broad scope of responsibility under minimal supervision and under challenging time constraints. Strong analytical background with in-depth knowledge of financial processes Creative “out of the box” thinking to drive transformation Strong work ethic, ambition and hunger to learn Experience and Passion for Consumer Goods, Retail and/or Health Nutrition preferred MISC: This is an on-site role - not a remote role. The base pay for this position is $129,300.00 – $258,700.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
