Job description

Job Description: Flight operations department is in charge to: Management of flight operations including: flight plans; flight surveillance during operation, take-off and landing; coordination on site and with externals stakeholders -i.e. AENA and Military Base-; acknowledgment of METARs, NOTAMS and any other notifications that could impact flight operations; Management of Fire brigade service including procedures, training and means related to the service; Acting as Emergency coordinator and participating / supporting emergency trials. Management of communications during tests (including tactical and crypto communications). Management of aviation fuel including: contract administration, orders; fuel quality controls (diary, weekly and monthly); fuel installation service availability, maintenance and operation (+100 operations/year). Management of Ground Support Equipment (GPU, towing bars, etc.) and Aircrew equipment in order to secure serviceability (including daily routines to check main functions and secure availability and operation). Platform operation: general access controls, FODs inspection (daily), etc. General administration including: review of applicable documentation (norms, laws, etc.), update of internal department documentation, management of purchase orders and others. The Job holder is responsible for: Flight Operations:Management of the operations office (Flight plan, Monitoring, control and information of helicopters on the platform, approach, takeoff and/or flight from/to the Airbus heliport, including SESCAM helicopter, METAR information, NOTAMS, TAF, warnings for expected storms at aerodrome and route, etc..) Coordination of the ground service. Coordination and management of the Firefighting and Rescue Team (Subcontracted Team). Support to test flights regarding the management of Flight Means, such as: Hook and Hoist, Hot Spot Target, etc. Manage the Airband communications network among all its means and stations (including radio communications in HF, VHF, UHF, Crypto, Crypto HF, Crypto VHF, Crypto UHF and Crypto TRA-PR4G). Manage support for our crew at external airports for ferry flights (Cargo manifest, flight authorizations at destination airports, etc.) Fuel Aviation management*:Fuel supplier management: Secure fuel aviation availability to ensure operations performance. Perform quality control checks of fuel (tanks and helicopters) in accordance with regulation standards. Perform aircraft fueling / de-fueling operations. Ensure line maintenance / operation / serviceability of fuel installation. Perform general administration (Purchase orders, fuel movements in SAP from storage to helicopters) Platform service:Secure platform readiness for operation (including FOD control and surface inspection and maintenance management). Secure the control of the access gates to the platforma and to the airport (RF1). Secure facilities serviceability to ensure helicopter ground and flight tests. Support flight line personnel on towing activities / specific training. Act as signalmen during operations. Responsible for the access controls to the platform. Ground Support Means:Secure means availability and readiness for operations, including the operational management and basic maintenance activities. Support ground support means installation. General administration:SMS Support: registration of incidents. Regulation review to secure the application of the correct standards. Flight operations documentation definition and update.
